One of the most joyful aspects of being a Catholic is being able to receive the Body of Christ. What a precious gift we receive when we approach the table of the Lord to receive his Body!
Children must be in second grade or older to prepare for First Holy Communion. Children must already be baptized. As part of their preparation for First Holy Communion, children receive their First Penance. Go to the Faith Formation page to learn about important dates for First Communion preparation.
Adults who wish to celebrate their First Holy Communion must go through OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) to prepare for receiving their Holy Communion.
