Are you new in Leominster or unaffiliated with a Catholic parish here? We welcome new parishioners and hope to show a warmth and openness to new individuals or families.
Please take the time to register at St. Leo's. You can print a Parish Registration Form from our website by clicking on the Parish Registration Button on our Home Page. You may also find a Registration Form at the door of the church. We would like to have current information about our parishioners on file.
We also ask that you introduce yourself to the priest after Mass, so we can begin to put a name to a face.
YOU ARE MOST WELCOME!

At least one of the couple must be a registered parishioner of St. Leo's. If neither bride nor groom are registered at St. Leo's then they must have written permission from the pastor of their parish to be married at St. Leo's.
The Diocese of Worcester asks that weddings be scheduled one year before the wedding date, so that there is adequate time for the wedding preparation process. Weddings are booked on a first come first served basis and cannot conflict with regularly scheduled parish Masses or other parish events. Please contact the rectory for additional information at 978-537-7257.
The requirements for Godparents for the sacrament of Baptism are: One of the Godparents must be a practicing Catholic, that means, they must be confirmed, practicing their religion (attending Mass and receiving Communion regularly).
The other Godparent has to be a Christian. The practicing Catholic Godparent must provide a "Sponsor Card" from their parish. A Sponsor Card will state that they are registerd at a Catholic Church and a practicing Catholic. The Sponsor Card must be signed by their pastor.

Our records go back well into the 1800's and are organized by plot owners and the names of those buried. Knowing the date of death, the name of the deceased, and the name of the owner of the plot will help us find the information you are looking for.
