The Sacrament of Confirmation completes and seals a Catholic's baptism. Confirmation is not the end of learning and growing in our faith. It is one step in the journey. Confirmation acknowledges the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
High school students may present themselves for Confirmation as freshmen or older. Please refer to our Faith Formation program for meeting dates and times.
Adults may also celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. If adults are Catholic and have celebrated their baptism but not their First Communion, or are from other Christian traditions, then preparation for the sacraments would take place in OCIA.
All who present themselves for Confirmation must choose a sponsor to stand up for them. Sponsors must be Catholics who have been confirmed and serve as suitable role models in living the Catholic life.
Please call the rectory at (978) 537-7257 for more information.
